Needless to say, red is a colour which has very high visibility; it raises blood pressure and grabs attention.
No doubt that a red cocktail dress is among my top choices for attending any celebration, however; I’d avoid wearing bright red to an engagement party; a wedding or a birthday bash (unless you want to end the friendship). If I must choose wearing red to any of the above event, I’d go for the lighter or darker shade of red to avoid becoming the centre of the attention.
After all, red represents: energy; strength; danger (Not always a bad thing!); power; passion; desire; love; excitement; warmth and lively… What’s not to love?!!!
