A Fashion Blogger’s Food Affair

Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant in New York City.Well it’s been a while since I last shared my news here; I hope this post finds you well.

Some of you might know that I have been busy working on my travel, fashion and lifestyle blog White Caviar Life, including food; but you most likely don’t know that it’s this new food blogging that has confirmed my love for food. Do I enjoy delicious cuisines? Yes, I have always have and now, I’m slowing but surely learning how to write about food. Well, there must be more than just saying something is ‘yummy’ or ‘delicious’ to describe mouth-watering dishes, right? You get the picture. I’m getting deeper into culinary expression!

With food loving in mind, I tuned-in to watch the Australian cooking show MasterChef this winter and have become hugely addicted to it. I watched between two to four episodes per night – thanks to TenPlay’s catch-up series and many nights, instead of dressing up and heading out to art openings and talks about art, travel and fashion, I have chosen to stay in watching MasterChef instead. Couch potato I hear you say? You are not wrong at all!

A few weeks ago, Kent’s Street Fashion Sydney received a dinner invitation to a new just 10-day opened Indian restaurant to write a food and restaurant review (click here to read Kent’s post). Well we couldn’t have been happier, excited to be engaged with more local foodies and we were so spoiled by the owner’s generosity in tasting their menu! So hopefully more events like this will be coming our way.
While vivalaViv is no stranger to food blogging (read my previous food posts here and here); I have so much to learn regarding food writing and I’m working hard to improve.

Last but not least, I want to thank Kent my talented partner who was the first to encourage me to include food writing on White Caviar Life; after all food brings people together and it has given me a lot of joy! So let me share with you my latest food post and I hope you like it as much as I do.
