Indulge My Skin With Nature’s Goodness – Antipodes Manuka Honey Skincare Reviews

If you haven’t already heard about Antipodes, let me introduce you to it: The Scientific Green Beauty company from New Zealand that uses native, local ingredients in its award-winning vegetarian and certified organic premium skincare range.

As someone who believes in sustainable and chemical-free skincare products, I was thrilled (on behalf of White Caviar Life) when receiving the Beehive Box which includes three of Antipodes’ Manuka Honey range products. Here are the products and my reviews after over 10 days of usage…

1) Aura Manuka Honey Mask

What I love: Unlike some face masks I’ve tried before that dried out rather quickly, this one remains creamy and light. Double action cleansing mask that eliminates impurities while intensely hydrating skin. After washing the mask off, my skin feels refreshed, hydrated and balanced. With the current lockdown situations worldwide, we are spending much more time at home, what better way to look after our skin by having a nice bath while cleansing our skin with this luscious, vegetarian face mask.

Benefits: ‘Wild-sourced manuka honey from New Zealand locks moisture into the skin, while helping to keep skin super fresh and blemish-free. Bring peace and balance to your aura with divine fragrances of vanilla pod and mandarin. Suited to most skin types, especially blemish-prone.’

2) Manuka Honey Skin Brightening Light Day Cream

What I love: Super light. I absolutely love its fragrance of honey. It leaves my skin feels silky smooth to the touch and restoring its natural glow.

Benefits: ‘Bee venom and manuka blackfern contribute to a gentle lifting effect. World-famous manuka honey, renowned for its health giving benefits, helps to address the appearance of any skin blemishes. Antioxidant-rich vinanza grape and kiwifruit blend with peony flower for the ultimate skin-bright finish. Suited to most skin conditions, especially oily.’

3) Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream

What I love: 30ml and filled right to the top – very generous for an eye cream. The cream itself is great for my sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin around my eye areas and not once have I felt discomfort after applying the cream.

Benefits: ‘Manuka honey boasts potent moisturising properties to hydrate and freshen the under-eye area in this vegetarian eye cream. Persian silk flower blends with antioxidant-rich vinanza grape seed and kiwifruit to help brighten delicate tissue. Suited to oily and blemish-prone types.’
