Eat, Drink, Shop – William Street Festival 2014

600-AdjSE-Crp-F0256Spring weather was on its best behavior* when the 6th annual William Street Festival was held last Saturday – the 11th of October. 27C; blue sky; light breeze.., we couldn’t have asked for more!

This year, our friend Nyk joined Kent and I in the heart of trendy Paddington, where William Street transformed into a festival of: fashion; food stalls; live music; installations and flower markets.
Strolling along William Street, we listened to the live music while sipping our drinks; watching colourful installations and an exciting crowd, we also found some special offers from the local retailers. I, was especially delighted to see people playing ping pong in the middle of the street, which seems to have become Nudie Jeans’ annual tradition!

We started at the bottom and worked our way to the top – of William Street! Not only did we enjoy the atmosphere, I really enjoyed flaunting my new hair cut! We wrapped our outing with a delicious late lunch at the local pub on the corner.
The festival played on as we left. If you haven’t been to William Street Festival, you can always experience it next year. Meanwhile, simply pay a visit to William Street any time; it’s an exciting shopping laneway – it’s where the true heart of Paddington’s fashion world.
